A Young Orphan Fighting for One More Chance at Life
My name is [Doris Ngozi ihekwoaba], and I never imagined life would become this painful at such a young age.
I lost both of my parents when I was still a child. The people who were supposed to guide me, protect me, and help me through life were suddenly gone. Since then, life has felt like a long, lonely battle. While other children had parents to support their dreams, I was left trying to survive each day on my own.
There were nights I cried myself to sleep wondering why life had to be this hard for me. Nights when I went hungry. Days when I watched others continue their education while my own dreams slowly faded because I had nobody to pay my school fees or stand beside me.
The pain of being an orphan is something words can hardly explain. Sometimes, it feels like the world moves on while you are left behind, struggling silently and pretending to be strong even when your heart is breaking inside.
But deep down, I still have hope.
I still dream of returning to school. I still dream of building a small business so I can survive honestly and stop depending on people for every little thing. I do not want a luxurious life. I only want a chance — a chance to stand again, to learn, to work, and to build a future that my parents would have been proud of.
Right now, I am struggling financially and emotionally, and I cannot do this alone anymore. That is why I am humbly asking for help from kind-hearted people around the world.
Any donation, no matter how small, can change my life completely. Your support could help me return to school, start a small business, feed myself, and finally have hope again after years of pain and uncertainty.
If you are unable to donate, please share my story. Maybe someone out there will hear my cry and help me find the second chance I have been praying for.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading my story and for giving me hope that I am not alone in this world.
